Relativity Television Teams Up With Shuki Levy in First Look Production Deal
Relativity Television to Oversee Worldwide Distribution, Finance, Production for Levy’s Original Content in the Children’s Space, First Project Being Live Action/CGI Series “Tribe of the Wild”
Levy Co-Created and Executive Produced the Internationally Recognized Franchise, Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers

October 3, 2013 – Relativity announced today that it has signed a first look production deal with Shuki Levy, co-founder of Saban Entertainment and the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers brand and franchise. Relativity Television will oversee worldwide distribution, finance and production for Levy’s original content in the children’s space, the first of which is “Tribe of the Wild.”
This deal strengthens Relativity Television’s stable of executive producers and show creators that already includes Jay Blumenfield and Tony Marsh, Bogner Entertainment, This is Just a Test Productions, Ashley Tisdale’s BlondieGirl Productions, among others. With 17 original series currently on air, Relativity has quickly become one of the country’s largest suppliers of unscripted television and has recently expanded into scripted programming with the development of scripted sitcoms, dramas and sketch comedy series.

“Tribe of the Wild,” an action-adventure series that combines live action and cutting-edge CGI animation, follows the extraordinary adventures of five average high school friends who find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time. In an unfamiliar world where past, present and future are merged into one, the teens embark on a mysterious and treacherous journey. Levy created the series and will serve as writer, executive producer and provide the original score. Ronnie Hadar, the original producer of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers joins Levy as producer.
During his tenure at Saban Entertainment, Levy helped leverage the company into one of the largest independent producers and distributors of children’s programming in the world. Levy has written, produced and directed several independent features for both theatrical and television release including Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers: The Movie, Turbo – A Power Rangers Movie, Susie Q, Rusty: A Dog’s Tale and Aussie and Ted. His films have been featured on Disney Channel, NBC, Fox Network, ABC Family, among other major networks.
An award-winning composer, songwriter, recording and performing artist, Levy has garnered 15 Gold and Platinum records with sales in excess of 14 million records worldwide. He has scored over a dozen feature and television films and composed the music for over 130 television series, including such memorable themes as Inspector Gadget, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Spider Man, X-Men and Power Rangers.
