(Beverly Hills, CA) July 24, 2013 – Relativity, along with Edward R. Pressman, Chris Brown, Alberto Lensi, Australia-based Pictures in Paradise and Trans-American Films International announced today that together they will produce a re-invention of the iconic 1988 film Bloodsport that explores the morally-conflicted life of 21st Century mercenaries as they collide with the underground world of Brazilian Vale Tudo fighting.

The film will be directed by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta, Ninja Assassin, The Raven, and the upcoming The Survivor).
